Recently I read the NAEYC New Guidance on NAEYC Accreditation Criteria. The NAEYC standard that states “all children have opportunities to access technology (including tape recorders, microscopes and computers) that they can use by themselves, collaboratively with peers and with teaching staff or parent” really encourages the use of age-appropriate technology. Our digital products definitely give young learners an opportunity to learn about literacy through technology, but how much fun would it be for preschoolers to listen to song books and sing along!? We have 16 song books available on myON reader! If you have myON, just search for "songs"; otherwise the traditional songs are also in book format on Capstone's website, but music isn't included...sorry!
