School is out for the summer for most families, and the yearly task of finding things to keep the kids busy is upon us. Of course, keeping them reading is one of the most important things we can do. And reading nonfiction will not just keep them reading, but it will keep them ready to tackle the challenges of the Common Core State Standards when they get back in the classrooms.
So to help, the nonfiction editors here at Capstone did a very unscientific survey to determine some of the best Capstone nonfiction books that are sure to please readers of all ages. (OK, basically it's a list of some of our all-time favorites. But it's a great list!) Happy reading this summer!
10. Churchill and the Battle of Britain
